Job Overview
Terex Conveying Systems (TCS) is part of Terex’s Aggregates business unit, offering mobile conveyors and stackers globally under brands such as ProStack. We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager – ROW based in Northern Ireland to drive sales and growth for the ProStack conveyor brand outside North America. The role reports to the Business Line Director for TCS and works closely with engineering, operations, and the global sales & marketing team.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategies to achieve year‑over‑year growth for ProStack within the assigned markets.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence, identifying key factors affecting ProStack and how it can operate within or influence those conditions.
- Collect and analyze market data to support business strategy development.
- Report business activities using approved methods.
- Create commercial tools to support dealer and direct sales initiatives.
- Co‑ordinate forecasting and SO&P processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, integrated management system documentation, and statutory requirements.
- Identify problem areas and recommend preventive actions.
- Manage existing dealers effectively using ProStack dealer performance tools.
- Prospect new dealers for underserved territories and market segments.
- Handle sales and forecasting for the territory, including dealer order patterns, backlog scheduling, and credit facilities.
- Contribute to the global sales & marketing team, attending and coordinating seminars, product demos, and other sales activities.
- Communicate product launches, changes, implementations, and pricing policy.
- Deliver presentations to end‑user customers and key corporate accounts.
- Coordinate dealer sales training.
- Report market trends, competition activities, and other relevant information on agreed timetables.
- Provide market feedback and support new product development.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in engineering or business, or five years of cumulative experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication skills at all organizational levels.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical and financial knowledge.
- Interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to generate business plans and present modelling scenarios.
- Substantial experience in B2B sales of capital and industrial goods and services.
