Welder / Fabricator – Ballymoney – 4 day week (Monday to Thursday). Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will work alone and as part of a team to meet production targets.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical plans, engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Measure and inspect cuts and joins using precision measuring instruments.
- Ensure safe and controlled movement of production parts.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures at all times.
- Meet production line targets and deadlines.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives as a team member.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience reading basic 3D CAD drawings.
- Understanding of fabrication processes and jigs.
- Good ability in MIG mild steel welding (preferably in heavy engineering).
- Relevant experience or NVQ Level 2 qualification.
- Knowledge of H&S procedures and responsibilities.
- Prior experience in a fast‑moving manufacturing or heavy equipment environment is an advantage.
