Welder / Fabricator – Ballymoney – 4 day week (Monday to Thursday). Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will work alone and as part of a team to meet production targets.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret technical plans, engineering drawings and welding symbols.
  • Measure and inspect cuts and joins using precision measuring instruments.
  • Ensure safe and controlled movement of production parts.
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Meet production line targets and deadlines.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives as a team member.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience reading basic 3D CAD drawings.
  • Understanding of fabrication processes and jigs.
  • Good ability in MIG mild steel welding (preferably in heavy engineering).
  • Relevant experience or NVQ Level 2 qualification.
  • Knowledge of H&S procedures and responsibilities.
  • Prior experience in a fast‑moving manufacturing or heavy equipment environment is an advantage.
