Join our team at Terex to work as a Facilities Operative in Ballymoney. The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and runs on a 4‑day evening shift following a training period.

What You'll Do

  • Troubleshoot problems with all company assets and equipment.
  • Responsibility for waste management.
  • Site & grounds maintenance as required.
  • Adhere to safe working practices.
  • Ensure safe, efficient and sustainable operation of assets.
  • Perform administrative functions relating to operations, including reports and records.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant/required regulations/programs both internally and externally.
  • Day‑to‑day liaison with internal and external customers.
  • Perform housekeeping of all facilities to maintain cleanliness and general appearance.
  • Continually gain knowledge of all aspects of operations.
  • Recommend and specify proper equipment and procedural needs to meet company goals.
  • Test and troubleshoot all equipment and systems to support operations.
  • Complete and maintain proper records.
  • Ensure the operation of all equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, repairs and maintaining appropriate equipment inventories.
  • Assist in the management and organization of all aspects of operations and maintenance.
  • Assist in the shutdown and startup of equipment and site pre‑ and post‑shutdown periods.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working in a similar environment would be desirable.
  • Self‑motivation, results driven, action oriented with high energy.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities.
