The Dispatch Coordinator Support provides essential administrative and operational support to the dispatch team. This role ensures schedules are kept up to date, paperwork is accurately processed, and customers receive timely and professional communication. Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and Coordination: Update and maintain daily and weekly dispatch schedules; adjust schedules based on operational changes or customer requirements; communicate updates to drivers, field staff, and internal teams.
- Customer Communication: Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding delivery or service updates; respond to inquiries professionally via phone and email; provide accurate information on timing, delays, and service status.
- Documentation & Administration: Complete and process dispatch-related paperwork; maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and service activity; ensure all documentation is filed and stored in line with company procedures.
- Operational Support: Work closely with dispatch coordinators to support daily operations; monitor job progress and flag any issues or delays; assist with data entry and system updates.
