Reporting to Production Supervisors/Materials Team Lead, you will work as part a team to handle materials in a safe and efficient manner.
You will be responsible for creating a seamless flow of materials to Production.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Efficient and timely handling of all materials
- Support Production through timely and accurate delivery of Parts
- Use of PIT in a safe and efficient manner including Pallet Stacker
- Processing of Parts to fabrication received from both Cutting Shop and from Stores
- Compliance with inventory control measures
- Compliance with internal environmental and waste management procedures
- Following Standard Work procedures
- General Housekeeping Duties
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience of working in a fast moving manufacturing environment
- Valid PIT license
- Understanding of Inventory Control
- Good understanding of English Language
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Self-motivation and initiative
- Ability to work well in a team
- Ability to problem solve
- Strive towards continuous improvement
- Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities
