Mozaic is an innovative and growing Operating Model Transformation Consultancy. We work with large organisations at CIO level, to assess and transform their digital operations. As a Service Architect, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping, designing, and assuring E2E service models. This role combines architectural rigour with delivery practicality, ensuring that services are operationally viable, technically sound, and aligned with strategic outcomes. You will work in a blended team, supporting the design and delivery of scalable, resilient, and userācentric services.
You will:
- Design and document E2E service models spanning people, process, data, technology, and supplier ecosystems.
- Lead the development of service blueprints, service catalogues, interface definitions, and runbooks for businessācritical functions.
- Lead service design governance in collaboration with the client Architectural governance team, ensuring alignment to their standards.
- Produce and assure design artefacts, conforming to agreed policies, taxonomies, security controls, and accessibility requirements.
- Actively contribute to Governance Boards, providing technical service assurance, dependency management, and risk mitigation inputs.
- Map and manage technical and supplier interdependencies, ensuring clean transitions of contracts, data, infrastructure, and support models.
- Lead architectural alignment across workstreams, identifying and mitigating crossācutting constraints, risks, and duplication.
- Work closely with Enterprise Architects, Technical SMEs, ServiceNow platform leads, Delivery Managers, and Business Analysts to ensure that service architecture is both strategically aligned and practically implementable.
- Coach client teams on operating model design, governance frameworks, and supplier/service integration principles to ensure longāterm capability uplift.
Essential Skills:
- Strong track record designing services in large organisations
- Deep knowledge of service integration, sourcing strategies, enterprise platforms.
- Familiarity with public sector policy, digital governance (GDS/TCoP), and secure service design standards.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
- SC cleared or Clearable
Desirable Skills:
- Working knowledge of Product and Platform operating models
- Working knowledge of ITIL4
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow
- Experience supporting large-scale mergers, acquisitions, or transformations.
