How You'll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You'll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. As a sole-charge nurse in this role, you will be responsible for covering emergency cases from admit through to discharge. Your responsibilities will also include providing exceptional care to hospitalised inpatients, managing anaesthesia, assisting in surgical procedures, and monitoring patients throughout the night. As our OOH service grows, we will be looking to add additional team members to help ensure that the workload remains manageable.
Full-time position consisting of 7 consecutive night shifts (Monday to Sunday), with each shift lasting 12 hours and including a 1-hour break. This schedule is followed by 14 days off.
