Asbestos Surveyor – Fancy something a bit more steady? No chasing unrealistic targets. No constant firefighting. No burning your evenings trying to catch up. If you’re an Asbestos Surveyor who’s just a bit tired of the pace… this might be worth a look.

We’re working with a social housing provider on a role that’s actually built to be sustainable. Not just in the compliance sense, in how your week feels.

The role (simple, no fluff):

  • You’ll be carrying out asbestos management surveys across their domestic and commercial stock.

Day-to-day, that means:

  • Management surveys in line with HSG264
  • Supporting re-inspections and occasional refurbishment & demolition surveys
  • Using in-house software to record accurate, usable data
  • Working closely with planned and maintenance teams so work can move safely

You’ll manage your own diary. You’ll be trusted to get on with it. And you won’t be micromanaged.

Why people tend to stay here:

  • It’s not chaotic. It’s not reactive chaos dressed up as a “fast-paced environment”. It’s structured.
  • A proper asset management function behind it
  • Clear processes around compliance
  • A team that knows what good looks like
  • Real focus on getting decisions right, not just getting them done fast

And importantly, it’s a 37-hour week. Not “37 hours on paper, 50 in reality”.

£43k Salary with a company vehicle

35 days holidays (around £6,500 in holiday pay)

Hybrid working - mostly home based. No daily commutes to the office for no reason. Just a normal, manageable working week.

The bit that often gets overlooked: This role actually matters. The data you collect feeds directly into safety, compliance, and how homes are maintained. It’s not box-ticking, it’s work that genuinely protects people and helps teams do their jobs properly.

If you’re in a role now where it all feels a bit relentless… Or you’re just ready for something more settled… I’m happy to talk you through it. No push. No pressure to apply. Just a proper conversation so you can decide if it’s right for you.
