We are on the lookout for a Housing Support Worker for an incredible housing charity in the RCT / Pontypridd area.

What will you do?

  • The role of the Support Worker is to assist single women with complex issues.
  • You will be involved in the day to day support of service users.
  • This is a women's service in the RCT area, focused on housing support.
  • The service is funded by the Wales Housing Support Grant (HSG).
  • You will carry a caseload of service users / clients.
  • Undertake safety planning (MARF, SEREF, MARAC).
  • Complete needs and risk assessments.

What do we need?

  • Someone with excellent experience gained within the housing sector (charity, local authority etc.).
  • A great support worker.
  • A good understanding of Health and Safety and safeguarding processes.
  • Drivers licence with access to your own car.
  • Good knowledge of the services and organisations across the local area.
  • Able to manage a caseload.
  • A DBS on the update service or able to complete a new enhanced DBS check.
