Moxie People are working with a community-focused housing organisation in South Wales to find a Planned Works Surveyor ready to take the lead on investment and improvement projects.

  • Location: South Wales (Hybrid Working)
  • Salary: £39,000 per annum
  • Hours: 4-Day Week (4-days' work for 100% pay)

What you'll do as the Planned Works Surveyor:

  • From neighbourhood regeneration to planned maintenance and adaptations, you'll be right at the heart of meaningful change for local people.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager, delivering a customer-focused building surveying service across capital and revenue projects for a housing association.
  • Diagnosing building defects, scoping out work, writing up detailed specifications, and managing contracts (JCT/NEC).
  • Overseeing the quality, safety, and delivery of works carried out by contractors and internal teams.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • A building surveyor with hands-on experience delivering housing or property improvement programmes (planned works).
  • You're qualified (HNC/Degree etc) or you're working towards a qualification.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of WHQS, Building Regs, CDM 2015, and HHSRS.
  • Skilled at defect diagnosis, writing specs, managing contractors, and keeping projects on track.
  • Someone who cares about quality, safety, and impact.
