Moxie People are supporting a respected Welsh charity to recruit an experienced Refuge Service Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a meaningful leadership role supporting individuals affected by domestic abuse, sexual violence and trauma.
The Role
- You will oversee day-to-day operations of refuge services, leading a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed and person-led support.
- Line managing staff and providing case direction.
- Overseeing safeguarding, risk management and referrals.
- Attending MARAC and multi-agency meetings.
- Ensuring data accuracy, audits and compliance.
- Supporting service quality, improvement and reporting.
- Helping maintain safe and well-run refuge environments.
This role requires travel - driving licence, car and business insurance are essential.
About You
- Experience supporting vulnerable people in a housing or refuge setting.
- Strong safeguarding and risk assessment knowledge.
- Confident team leadership and organisational skills.
- A compassionate, trauma-informed and empowering approach.
- A DBS ON THE UPDATE SERVICE OR WITHIN THE LAST MONTH IS ESSENTIAL.
