Moxie People are supporting a respected Welsh charity to recruit an experienced Refuge Service Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a meaningful leadership role supporting individuals affected by domestic abuse, sexual violence and trauma.

The Role

  • You will oversee day-to-day operations of refuge services, leading a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed and person-led support.
  • Line managing staff and providing case direction.
  • Overseeing safeguarding, risk management and referrals.
  • Attending MARAC and multi-agency meetings.
  • Ensuring data accuracy, audits and compliance.
  • Supporting service quality, improvement and reporting.
  • Helping maintain safe and well-run refuge environments.

This role requires travel - driving licence, car and business insurance are essential.

About You

  • Experience supporting vulnerable people in a housing or refuge setting.
  • Strong safeguarding and risk assessment knowledge.
  • Confident team leadership and organisational skills.
  • A compassionate, trauma-informed and empowering approach.
  • A DBS ON THE UPDATE SERVICE OR WITHIN THE LAST MONTH IS ESSENTIAL.
