About the role
Moxie People are supporting a well‑established social housing provider as they welcome a Gas Engineer into their in‑house repairs team. This is a permanent role delivering high‑quality gas servicing, maintenance, and installation work across domestic properties.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Servicing, repairing and fault‑finding on domestic gas systems in line with Gas Safe regulations
- Completing landlord safety checks and planned maintenance works
- Carrying out new gas installations and upgrades where required
- Diagnosing issues during property inspections and reporting defects
- Managing van stock, tools and equipment to keep jobs running smoothly
- Using mobile technology to complete certification and job updates
You’ll occasionally support wider multi‑skilled tasks, but gas safety and quality will always be your core focus.

About you
You’ll do well here if you’re conscientious, organised, and take pride in safe, compliant work. You’ll need:
- Current Gas Safe qualifications (including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CPA1)
- Experience with domestic gas servicing, safety certification and installations
- A plumbing and heating qualification (NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2/3)
- A full UK driving licence and confidence using mobile technology
- Experience within social housing is a bonus, not a must
