Moxie People are supporting a well‑regarded housing provider in West Wales who are looking for an experienced Housing Team Leader to support their Housing Operations service on a temporary basis.
This is an immediate‑start role providing operational leadership across a small housing team. You'll oversee complex tenancy management, ASB, safeguarding and service delivery, ensuring customers receive a consistent, high‑quality service while supporting staff with coaching, decision‑making and case progression.
What you’ll be doing
You'll provide day‑to‑day leadership, guidance and operational oversight to the housing team, ensuring cases are managed effectively and services run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering line management including supervisions, 121s and performance monitoring
- Supporting staff with complex tenancy, ASB, safeguarding and legal cases
- Overseeing rent, arrears and income recovery activity
- Ensuring consistent, compliant tenancy management across the patch
- Reviewing and signing off enforcement action, notices and legal documentation
- Coordinating cross‑team working with contractors, support services and partner agencies
- Monitoring operational performance, service standards and caseload progression
- Supporting service improvement, problem‑solving and decision‑making
- Maintaining accurate, GDPR‑compliant records and reporting
- Providing visible, proactive leadership across the patch
What we’re looking for
You’ll need to be confident leading a small team and experienced in managing complex housing cases. We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong experience in tenancy management, ASB or housing operations
- Previous line management or supervisory experience
- Knowledge of relevant housing legislation (Renting Homes Wales desirable)
- Experience supporting staff with complex or high‑risk cases
- Excellent communication skills and a calm, professional approach
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing prioritiesExperience working with Police, Local Authorities and partner agencies
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential due to the nature of the role)
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
