Moxie People has joined forces with a large Housing Association in the South of England to recruit for a remote Governance Partner on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The important bits… πŸ’Ό Governance Partner πŸ“ Remote (occasional office days in Andover – once every 2 months) πŸ’° Β£46,330 per annum πŸ• 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday πŸ“… 6-month FTC (strong potential to extend or become permanent) This role will provide you with the opportunity to make a visible impact from day one, supporting committees, advising stakeholders, and enhancing governance processes. It\’s ideal for someone with proven committee management experience who thrives on organisation, accuracy and influencing at a senior level. What you\’ll be doing Managing allocated committees end-to-end (papers, minutes, timelines, actions). Providing first-line governance advice on decision-making, escalating complex/legal queries where needed. Taking ownership of recurring governance projects, e.g. reviews of the delegation matrix. Monitoring and processing delegation and approval requests. Ensuring compliance across governance frameworks in a large, complex group environment. Supporting continuous improvement of governance processes and standards. What we\’re looking for Minimum 2 years\’ governance experience. You must have supported full committee/board cycles, including AGMs. Strong committee management and minute-taking skills. Experience within housing, another regulated sector, or commercial governance environment. Governance mindset: able to interpret decisions, ensure compliance, and add value beyond administration. Organised, meticulous, and able to hit the ground running in a complex organisation. Part-qualified governance/CoSec (ICSA/CGI) welcome, though strong practical experience is equally valued.
