Step Down Domestic Abuse Support Worker πŸ“ Neath | πŸ’Ό Fixed Term (Sept 2025 – Mar 2026) | ⏰ 35 hours per week | πŸ’· Β£22,500 – Β£23,500 We\’re seeking a compassionate and skilled Step Down Support Specialist to provide trauma-informed support to survivors of domestic abuse whose risk has reduced to medium or low. The Role Provide tailored one-to-one support and safety planning. Help survivors build confidence, independence, and long-term resilience. Work closely with IDVA services to ensure smooth transitions. Signpost individuals to housing, welfare, legal, counselling, training and other services. Keep accurate case records and contribute to ongoing risk assessments. About You Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or working towards) in social care/health or relevant field. At least 2 years\’ experience supporting vulnerable adults, families, or young people. Strong knowledge of domestic abuse issues and safeguarding. Confident in multi-agency working, needs/risk assessments and support planning. Full driving licence and access to a car. Why Apply?
