You will oversee the full lifecycle of externally delivered contracts, from specification and procurement through to delivery, ensuring projects meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
What you will be doing:
- Lead and manage roofing and planned works contracts from tender to completion.
- Produce detailed specifications and programmes of work to ensure value for money.
- Oversee contractor performance, ensuring compliance with CDM and Health & Safety legislation.
- Maintain tight financial control and report on progress against key milestones.
- Build strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Deliver excellent customer service, addressing any queries or issues promptly and professionally.
What you will bring:
- HNC (or equivalent) in a building-related discipline, or proven experience in a similar social housing role.
- Strong understanding of statutory construction and housing regulations, including CDM and Asbestos.
- Experience creating, procuring, and managing contracts for roofing or planned works.
- Commercially astute with excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Full driving licence and flexibility to travel across operational areas.
