We're looking for an experienced Multi‑Trade Carpenter (uPVC Repairs) to join a fast‑paced maintenance team delivering high‑quality repairs across tenanted and void properties. This role is ideal for a carpenter who is confident with uPVC and composite window/door repairs, glazing, and general domestic maintenance.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Overhauling uPVC and composite doors: hinges, locks, handles, alignment and adjustments
  • Servicing and repairing uPVC windows: friction hinges, handles, restrictors, keeps
  • Confidently working with tilt‑and‑turn mechanisms
  • Measuring and identifying replacement double‑glazed units (misted/broken panes)
  • Carpentry repairs: door hanging, frames, skirting, architraves, ironmongery
  • Patch plastering and minor decorative making‑good
  • Minor plumbing: tap changes, isolation valves, traps, leaks
  • Supporting wider responsive repairs across domestic properties

What We're Looking For

  • A carpenter first, with strong multi‑trade capability
  • Proven experience in uPVC window and door repairs (not just installation)
  • Experience in social housing, domestic maintenance, or similar environments
  • Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety
  • Organised, adaptable, and confident managing varied workloads
  • Full clean driving licence
