Moxie People are supporting a purpose-led organisation in South Wales as they recruit an Executive Assistant to support their Chief Executive, Chair and Board during a significant period of organisational transformation. This isn't a traditional EA role. This is an opportunity to become the operational backbone of a Chief Executive's office, working closely with senior leaders, regulators, board members and sector partners while helping shape the future of a newly formed organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting the Chief Executive with diary management, correspondence, meeting preparation and executive administration.
  • Acting as a trusted point of contact for the CEO's office.
  • Building relationships with senior stakeholders including regulators, sector bodies and external partners.
  • Supporting the Chair, Vice Chair and Board through an important governance transition.
  • Drafting and editing reports, briefings and correspondence to executive level.
  • Tracking actions, commitments and key organisational priorities.
  • Coordinating governance and reporting activities linked to a major improvement programme.
  • Managing sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience supporting a Chief Executive, Director or equivalent senior leader.
  • Experience working within housing, public sector, healthcare, higher education, government, legal, financial services or another regulated environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior leaders, boards and external organisations.
  • Excellent written communication skills with experience drafting professional reports, correspondence and briefing papers.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Sound judgement, resilience and absolute discretion when handling confidential matters.

Why Apply?

This is a genuinely unique opportunity to work alongside a newly appointed Chief Executive and play a key role during a period of significant organisational change. You’ll gain exposure to Board-level decision making, senior stakeholder engagement and strategic organisational priorities while helping shape how the executive office operates moving forward. For someone who enjoys variety, responsibility and working at the centre of important decisions, this role offers an opportunity that rarely comes to market.
