About the Role

You'll be joining a small, highly skilled team working on a wide range of precision components. This isn't a repetitive production role - you'll be involved in real machining. Your day‑to‑day will include:

  • Setting and operating CNC milling machines (Fanuc‑controlled Doosan)
  • Running existing programs and supporting first‑off checks
  • Loading/unloading parts and carrying out basic tool changes
  • Reading engineering drawings and understanding tolerances
  • Using measurement tools such as verniers and micrometers
  • Supporting senior machinists with setups, fixtures and tooling
  • Keeping your machine area clean, organised and safe
  • Learning new skills and progressing into more technical work

What We're Looking For

  • Some experience in CNC machining (setting or operating)
  • Ability to read basic engineering drawings
  • Familiarity with measurement tools
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Interest in progressing into programming and more complex machining
  • Reliable, steady and takes pride in producing quality work

If you've worked on Mazak, Hurco, Doosan, Haas, Fanuc or similar machines - even better.
