Make a real difference to people’s lives through the quality, safety, and future-readiness of their homes. If you care about doing work that genuinely improves communities - this is the kind of role that stays with you. Moxie People are partnering with a forward-thinking housing provider who are investing heavily in their homes, their decarbonisation journey, and the wellbeing of the people who live in them.

About the role

You’ll join a supportive Assets & Decarbonisation team, working on the surveys and decisions that really matter - the ones that keep residents safe, resolve complex issues, and shape long-term investment in homes. Your work will focus on:

  • Investigating boundary issues and property-related complaints
  • Carrying out complex DMC inspections and surveys
  • Identifying HHSRS and WHQS concerns
  • Completing detailed pre- and post-inspection surveys for repairs
  • Assessing customer alteration requests and unauthorised works
  • Preparing referrals for planned works and future decarbonisation projects

This isn’t a voids, disrepair, adaptations or stock-condition surveying role. It’s a focused, meaningful surveying position where your expertise directly influences safety, compliance, and long-term asset planning.

About you

You’ll thrive here if you:

  • Hold an HNC/HND in a building or construction-related field, or bring equivalent hands-on experience
  • Enjoy problem-solving and getting to the root of complex property issues
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with residents, contractors, and colleagues
  • Care about doing things properly - with accuracy, fairness, and empathy
  • Want to be part of an organisation that’s serious about decarbonisation, investment, and doing right by its communities

What’s on offer

£41,489 - £44,689 (dependant on experience) 9-day fortnight after your first month Hybrid working and supportive, people-centred culture Strong focus on wellbeing, development, and progression A stable organisation investing in its homes and its future The chance to work on meaningful, community-impacting projects rather than high-volume reactive work
