A high-growth technology business is looking for an experienced Head of Partnerships to lead its partnerships’ function and play a pivotal role in the next stage of its growth. This is a senior commercial leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities and turning ideas into scalable partnerships. You’ll take ownership of the partnerships’ strategy, develop new business opportunities, grow existing relationships and help shape how the business brings products and services to market through strategic collaborations.

Reporting to SLT, you’ll work closely with teams across Product, Engineering, Marketing and Risk, combining commercial expertise with a strong understanding of technology to create partnerships that deliver long-term value. Leading a team of three, you’ll be both strategic and hands-on setting direction, developing capability and getting involved in the detail when it matters. The role is remote-first, with occasional team meet-ups in Bristol and/or London, alongside travel to meet partners across the UK.

This is a broad and influential role where you’ll own the full partnerships lifecycle, from identifying new opportunities and building a pipeline, through to negotiating agreements, overseeing integrations and developing long-term partner relationships. You’ll play a key role in both winning new business and maximising the value of existing partnerships. This will include developing relationships with strategic partners, identifying opportunities for growth and ensuring partnerships continue to deliver strong commercial outcomes.

A key focus of the role will be product partnerships. You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering teams to understand how technology solutions can work together, contribute ideas around integrations and propositions, and help shape partnerships that are commercially successful and technically scalable. You won’t need to be a developer, but you’ll be comfortable discussing technology, understanding product capabilities and translating commercial opportunities into practical solutions.

With strong visibility across the business, you’ll influence strategic decisions, represent Partnerships at a senior level and help shape the future direction of the function.

About you: You’ll be an experienced partnerships leader with a strong commercial mindset and a track record of building successful relationships, developing new business opportunities and delivering growth. You’ll be comfortable balancing sales, business development and relationship management able to open doors with new partners while also nurturing and expanding existing relationships.

You’ll bring experience from a technology, software, SaaS, fintech or other regulated environment, with the ability to work confidently alongside Product and Engineering teams. You’ll understand how technology partnerships are developed and have the curiosity to explore how products can work together to create new opportunities.

You’ll have:

  • Experience leading partnerships, business development or commercial functions within a technology-led environment
  • A proven ability to build pipelines, develop strategic relationships and negotiate commercial agreements
  • Strong commercial understanding, including revenue drivers, growth opportunities and partnership performance
  • Experience working with Product and Engineering teams to deliver integrations or technology-led partnerships
  • The ability to influence senior stakeholders and build credibility across commercial and technical teams
  • Experience leading and developing a team

You’ll be someone who combines confidence with humility – happy to share ideas, challenge constructively and contribute to healthy debate, while remaining open to different perspectives and focused on finding the best solution. You’ll be a collaborative, curious and pragmatic leader who enjoys solving problems, bringing people together and making things happen.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a strategically important function within a growing technology business. You’ll have the autonomy to shape the partnerships strategy, influence product development through strategic collaborations, lead a talented team and make a meaningful impact on future growth.
