Full-time Hybrid / Remote
You’ll have access to an office in London and Bristol, which you can attend as much as you wish. We’re looking for an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to join a growing communications consultancy working across property, planning and the built environment. It’s a role with plenty of variety.
You’ll work closely with clients to understand their challenges, develop communications and engagement strategies, and help deliver projects that can have a real impact on the places and communities around them. From researching local politics and stakeholder landscapes to developing campaigns, writing content and supporting public engagement, you’ll be involved from idea to delivery.
You’ll also play a role in new business, contributing to pitches and proposals and helping the team build strong, lasting client relationships. A big part of the role is being able to take something complicated and make it clear. You’ll need to be a confident communicator, comfortable working with different audiences and able to build trusted relationships with clients, stakeholders and colleagues.
You’ll also be managing a number of projects and deadlines, so being organised, proactive and good at keeping things moving is essential. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, pays attention to the detail and isn’t afraid to ask questions or bring a fresh perspective.
You may already be working in PR, communications, public affairs or a similar consultancy or agency environment. Or you could be coming from a background in client services, political research, property, planning or another role where you’ve developed strong communication and relationship-management skills. An interest in politics, planning, property, development, infrastructure or the issues that shape local communities would be a real advantage.
For the Senior Account Manager role, you’ll ideally have experience managing client accounts and projects, with the confidence to take the lead on delivery and contribute to the strategic direction of client work. The role involves travelling to client meetings, project locations and stakeholder events across the region, so a full driving licence and access to a car would be advantageous.
In return, you’ll have the opportunity to work on interesting, varied projects with a team that values good ideas, strong relationships and getting things done. There’s genuine scope to take on responsibility, develop your skills and progress as the business grows.
