This is a full-time on-site role for a Bookkeeper based in Poole. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records, including processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports. Additional tasks include assisting with payroll, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies. The Bookkeeper will collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in bookkeeping tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and general ledger management
- Experience with financial software and tools, such as QuickBooks or Xero, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with an ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with financial reporting, payroll processing, and compliance with local tax regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain the accuracy of financial records
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in team settings
- Relevant qualifications such as AAT or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field are preferred
