About the Role

This is a part‑time, hybrid role for a Finance Assistant / Bookkeeper, who will be based at our offices in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to the Finance team in managing the day‑to‑day financial operations of the business. Working on a part‑time basis, the role focuses on ensuring the accurate processing of invoices, expenses, and payments, as well as maintaining clear and up‑to‑date financial records. The role plays a key part in maintaining the smooth running of the finance function and supporting the organisation’s continued growth across its projects and regions. 16–20 hours per week, spread over five days. Responsibilities

  • Manage input of payment run / loading payments.
  • Issuing the bank statements.
  • Assisting with month‑end and year‑end reporting.
  • Helping to produce cash flow summaries / budgets.
  • Liaising with suppliers, clients and other departments on payment queries.
  • Produce and maintain invoicing for Board Members.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • 5 GCSEs including Mathematics and English Language.
  • Attention to detail, organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong all arounder with confidence in Microsoft 365 packages.
  • Problem‑solving skills, the ability to research and an aptitude for helping others.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

  • Further education in Finance, Business or similar.
  • Desirable experience in any of the following areas of: Accounting, Finance, Procurement.
