This is a part-time, hybrid role for a Finance Assistant, who will be based at our offices in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to the Finance team in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Working on a part-time basis, the role focuses on ensuring the accurate processing of invoices, expenses, and payments, as well as maintaining clear and up-to-date financial records. The role plays a key part in maintaining the smooth running of the finance function and supporting the organisation’s continued growth across its projects and regions.
Please note: This part-time position offers 16–20 hours per week, spread over five days (2 days WFH 3 days office based). We encourage applications from everyone, including those re-entering the workforce or beginning their professional journey.
Responsibilities- Manage input of payment run / loading payments.
- Issuing the bank statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end reporting.
- Help to produce cash flow summaries / budgets.
- Liaise with suppliers, clients and other departments on payment queries.
- Produce and maintain invoicing for Board Members.
- 5 GCSEs including Mathematics and English Language
- Attention to detail, organisational and time management skills.
- Strong all rounder with confidence in Microsoft 365 packages.
- Problem‑solving skills, the ability to research and an aptitude for helping others.
- Further education in Finance, Business or similar
- Desirable experience in any of the following areas of: Accounting, Finance, Procurement
