Charity Officer

The Mowgli Trust | Liverpool HQ

Through The Mowgli Trust, we supportlocal and internationalcharities making a meaningful difference. We're looking for a passionate, organised and people-focused CharityOfficer to help grow our impact.

Working closely with the Board of Trustees, theMowgli's People Team,Charity Championsand charity partners, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of the Trust including budget and donation tracking, build strong partnerships, support fundraising and ensure every donation delivers meaningful change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Trust's day-to-day administration, including donations, grants and financial records.
  • Monitor budgets and prepare reports for the Chair and Board of Trustees.
  • Support governance by coordinating Trustee meetings, documentation and compliance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with UK and international charity partners, overseeing agreements and impact reporting.
  • Work with Mowgli's People Team and Charity Champions to deliver fundraising and volunteering initiatives.
  • Coordinate fundraising activity using platforms such as JustGiving and GoFundMe.
  • Gather impact data and create engaging updates for internal communications, presentations and social media.

You'll bring:

  • Experience in the charity, non-profit, CSR or a similar project-based role.
  • Excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills.
  • Experience managing budgets and producing financial reports.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with fundraising platforms
  • Confidence presenting information to a range of audiences.
