- Description
- Answering telephone calls in a polite, professional and helpful manner.
- Taking customer bookings accurately and recording information using the appropriate systems or processes.
- Taking payments and handling payment information securely and responsibly.
- Contacting customers by telephone, email or other agreed methods as required.
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and colleagues to support smooth business operations.
- Preparing, sending and responding to emails in a professional manner.
- Maintaining general filing systems, records and administrative documents.
- Supporting promotional events, including preparation, attendance and follow‑up administration where required.
- Assisting with general office duties and providing administrative support to different areas of the business.
- Following company procedures, confidentiality requirements and data protection expectations at all times.
Requirements
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A polite and professional telephone manner.
- Good attention to detail when recording information, taking bookings and completing administrative tasks.
- Basic IT skills and a willingness to learn company systems.
- Ability to work as part of a team and ask for support when needed.
- Reliable, punctual and willing to take responsibility for learning and development.
- Organised approach to work with the ability to manage simple tasks and priorities.
- Respect for confidentiality and an understanding of the importance of data protection.
