- Assist young people to live independently.
- Promote the five outcomes in the Every Child Matters Green Paper.
- Provide a safe, caring, and supportive environment for young people.
- Assist young people in the transition from adolescence to adulthood by equipping them with life skills and empowering them.
- Help young people sustain their accommodation, providing mediation when required.
- Collaborate with the young person and all significant persons in designing and implementing care plans, taking into account the young person's views.
- Assist young people to live independently within a shared house.
- Monitor the safety and wellbeing of the residents.
