Job Description

This is a fantastic role for someone that wants the opportunity to be part of a young, dynamic and very entrepreneurial SME business and really make their mark in the fast-paced world of plant-based food. 

Pioneering food-tech company, Moving Mountains Foods®, create plant-based meat for both retail and foodservice, available throughout the UK, Europe and Asia. Moving Mountains® provide consumers with meat alternatives that genuinely compete in taste, texture and satisfaction to animal meat products and require less land, less water and produce less greenhouse emissions.

As Supply Planner, you will be a key part of the supply chain team, responsible for production planning, ordering, and supplier coordination. Your role will involve maintaining and improving forecasting processes, ensuring stock availability, and helping to track supplier performance. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical individual who enjoys working with data and thrives in a fast-moving environment.

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel for Data analysis
  • Experience in supply planning, production planning, or demand forecasting
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate lead times
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

Key Skills Preferred:

  • Degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field
  • 1+ years' experience in a supply planning or procurement role
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics
  • Understanding of inventory management and forecasting techniques

Duties to Include:

  • Working with Manager to coordinate all production planning and ensuring timely order placement
  • Upkeep a robust sales forecast, coordinating with Account managers
  • Working closely with suppliers to confirm availability and lead times
  • Improving and maintaining forecasting processes to optimise inventory levels
  • Assisting in tracking supplier performance, including OTIF and lead time metrics
  • Identifying and implementing efficiencies in supply planning
  • Supporting the wider supply chain team in data analysis and reporting

HOURS:

·       Full time 9:00am-5:30pm Monday-Friday

·       Flexi time available to accommodate lifestyles.

HYBRID WORKING:

·       3 mandatory office days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

·       Must be willing to commute to office location.

LOCATION:

·       Shoreditch, London
