Position Overview: The Sales Executive will be responsible for leading our prospects and driving revenue growth across key defined markets in the UK. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of understanding market trends, identifying key targets and establishing strong customer relationships. We are looking for a hunter willing to contribute in developing the business activity, closing new deals and driving results in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Together with the Sales team, execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Own and execute the sales cycle from start to finish.
  • Prospect new dealers.
  • Close/win new customers and build/maintain customer relationships to upsell in the future.
  • Identify and prioritize target markets and segments for expansion, and develop tailored sales plans to penetrate these markets effectively.
  • Success will be measured on the closing skills and the number of deals closed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Success, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements and innovation.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management to provide insights into sales performance, pipeline development, and market trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, sales, business or related work experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in B2B sales.
  • Sales experience and network within the insurance or large automotive industry.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong appetite and high motivation for developing and hunting new business.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of developing and executing innovative sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills coupled with technical knowledge in the telematics technology, software development, automotive and other related applicable markets.
  • Background in telematics is a plus.
