Warehouse Team Leader – AM Sunday to Thursday Location: Avonmouth Department: Warehouse Contract type : Permanent Hours: 37.5 Sunday-Thursday Salary: £26,815.50 plus £975 late shift allowance Looking for a new challenge? Purpose of the role To ensure that the daily workload is completed to the required standard, with the labour required and within the agreed timescales. Key Responsibilities Actively Promote and engage with Teammates to promote a culture of safety and Teammate engagement Ensure all personnel adhere to all Company, legal, environmental, ISO, SOP, WI security and Health and Safety procedures and standards Report to the Government Contacts Manager on day-to-day activities within the operation Advise the Government Contacts Manager of any potential operational issues Ensure that Company property is maintained to the required level, reporting any faults, accidents or issues to the Government Contacts Manager immediately Act as the first point of contact for warehouse operatives and warehouse disciplines on your shift. Ensure departmental SLA, KPI and RCA service levels are fully met Prioritise daily workloads Identify problems and resolve/escalate accordingly in line with agreed process Perform daily team briefings & ensure a smooth and efficient shift handover Participate in daily management meetings and site walk-rounds as needed Compile, collate and review data required for necessary operational reports Flexibility with regards to working additional hours when required as determined by the needs of the business and the customer Assisting in audits as and when required to do so To cover the Government Contacts Manager when they are off site, which may include joining client calls or monthly business reviews. To cover any inventory duties when required, which could include, managing the PI count and quality check schedules, or anything in relation to stock management. Technical and Behavioral Skills Previous experience of leading a team, preferably within a FMCG environment Basic man-management skills and team building experience Good Interpersonal skills Previous experience with disciplinary procedures Self-motivated and a team player Ability to deliver and manage KPIs Takes personal responsibility for delivering high quality of work Demonstrate honesty, credibility and is punctual and present. Demonstrates an awareness of the importance of customer satisfaction and shows interest in customer needs. Willingness to try new approaches and adapt to changes, providing constructive feedback. Be confident when addressing clients or senior internal stakeholders. Be able to present data to internal stakeholders and clients. WMI and PC confident.
