Overview

Solution Design and Capacity Planning Manager, you\’ll be at the forefront of designing and delivering future-ready supply chain models that support growth, efficiency and exceptional service for our clients.
Based at Bedford, or one of our other Distribution Centres across the UK you\’ll take a leading role in designing logistics solutions and capacity plans across warehousing, transportation and value-added services. If you\’re a forward thinking, data driven, logistics professional with a passion for continuous improvement, we\’d love to hear from you.
What you\’ll be doing
- Designing scalable logistics solutions for both new and existing healthcare clients
- Supporting tender responses with compelling, cost-effective operational models
- Lead the creation of capacity plans to anticipate growth across our UK logistics network
- Build forecasting models to guide resource planning and ensure operational readiness
- Use tools such as Power BI, Excel, WMS / TMS reports to uncover data led insights and drive improvement.
- Work cross functionally with Operations, Commercial, Finance and IT teams to implement effective and sustainable logistics strategies.
What you\’ll bring
Essential
- Proven experience in solution design or capacity planning, ideally within a 3PL, healthcare or regulated environment.
- Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills and a solid grasp of data modelling.
- Comfortable supporting commercial tenders with technical and operational input.
- Experience managing complex projects and communicating with senior stakeholders.
Desirable
- Experience with GDP, MHRA and other healthcare compliance frameworks.
- Exposure to automation technologies or warehouse simulation tools.
- A degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or engineering.
