Purpose of the role
We\’re looking for a Legal Counsel to join our team and support the legal function across the business. This role is ideal for a solicitor with at least 1 year PQE looking to gain in-house experience in a supportive environment. Reporting to the UK Counsel, you\’ll work closely with multiple departments, providing legal advice, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risk.
How you\’ll make an impact at Movianto as a Legal Counsel
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, particularly client agreements.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including data protection.
- Support dispute resolution, liaising with external counsel when needed.
- Identify legal risks and provide practical advice to the business.
- Provide general legal support as required.
What it will take to thrive as Legal Counsel at Movianto
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with at least 1 year PQE (or equivalent).
- Knowledge of commercial law, with contract drafting experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
