As IT & Business Solutions Director, you will work in close partnership with senior leaders at our Bedford site, acting as a strategic link between business objectives and technical capability. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) offering a competitive remuneration package.

Purpose of the role:
The IT & Business Solutions Director plays a pivotal role in enabling the growth ambitions of Movianto UK. The commercially focused leadership role focuses on leveraging technology, data, automation and process optimisation to drive efficiency, scalability and informed decision making across the business.
How you’ll make an impact as an IT & Business Solutions Director at Movianto:
Commercial Enablement:
- Own and deliver Business Solutions and Technology Enablement strategy aligned to growth, EBITDA and productivity goals.
- Translate commercial and operational challenges into technology-enabled solutions with clear financial and operational benefits.
- Partner with Executive and Senior Leaders to prioritise initiatives and build robust, ROI-led investment cases.
Business Partnership and Solutions:
- Act as a trusted advisor to functional leaders on the effective use of technology and data to improve performance.
- Serve as the primary interface between the business and the outsourced IT provider, ensuring alignment, service quality and value.
Data and insights:
- Build a strong data and analytics capability that delivers timely, accurate and practicable insights.
- Embed a data-driven culture through improved management information, dashboards and performance reporting.
Automation and Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and implement automation opportunities across core operational and support processes.
- Sponsor and govern scalable digital and automation programmes in day-to-day operations.
Technology Oversight and Risk:
- Provide effective oversight and challenge of technology delivery without being hands-on.
- Ensure outsourced IT services are secure, compliant, to business and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee technology risk, cyber security, business continuity and future scalability.
Business Solutions team Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing Business Solutions team with a strong commercial and improvement mindset.
- Set clear priorities and outcomes aligned to business strategy and EBITDA improvement.
What it will take to thrive as an IT & Business Solutions Director at Movianto:
- Commercial senior leadership experience.
- Experience leveraging technology, data and automation to drive efficiency, productivity and EBITDA improvement in complex operational environments.
- Experience managing outsourced IT providers and third-party technology partners, including contract and performance governance.
- Strong commercial acumen linking operational improvement to financial outcomes and influence senior stakeholders to deliver change.
- Background in logistics, supply chain, healthcare, pharmaceuticals or other highly regulated sectors.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
