Solution Design and Capacity Planning Manager
At Movianto, we’re dedicated to delivering innovative, compliant and scalable logistics solutions to the healthcare sector. As our Solution Design and Capacity Planning Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and delivering future-ready supply chain models that support growth, efficiency and exceptional service for our clients.
Based at Bedford, or one of our other Distribution Centres across the UK, you’ll take a leading role in designing logistics solutions and capacity plans across warehousing, transportation and value-added services. If you’re a forward-thinking, data-driven, logistics professional with a passion for continuous improvement, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing
- Designing scalable logistics solutions for both new and existing healthcare clients
- Supporting tender responses with compelling, cost-effective operational models
- Leading the creation of capacity plans to anticipate growth across our UK logistics network
- Building forecasting models to guide resource planning and ensure operational readiness
- Using tools such as Power BI, Excel, WMS / TMS reports to uncover data-led insights and drive improvement
- Working cross-functionally with Operations, Commercial, Finance and IT teams to implement effective and sustainable logistics strategies
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience in solution design or capacity planning, ideally within a 3PL, healthcare or regulated environment
- Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills and a solid grasp of data modelling
- Comfortable supporting commercial tenders with technical and operational input
- Experience managing complex projects and communicating with senior stakeholders
- Experience with GDP, MHRA and other healthcare compliance frameworks
- Exposure to automation technologies or warehouse simulation tools
- A degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or engineering
