As our Solution Design and Capacity Planning Manager, you'll be at the forefront of designing and delivering future-ready supply chain models that support growth, efficiency and exceptional service for our clients.
Based at Bedford, or one of our other Distribution Centres across the UK, you'll take a leading role in designing logistics solutions and capacity plans across warehousing, transportation and value-added services. If you're a forward-thinking, data-driven, logistics professional with a passion for continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing scalable logistics solutions for both new and existing healthcare clients
- Supporting tender responses with compelling, cost-effective operational models
- Leading the creation of capacity plans to anticipate growth across our UK logistics network
- Building forecasting models to guide resource planning and ensure operational readiness
- Using tools such as Power BI, Excel, WMS / TMS reports to uncover data-led insights and drive improvement
- Working cross-functionally with Operations, Commercial, Finance and IT teams to implement effective and sustainable logistics strategies
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in solution design or capacity planning, ideally within a 3PL, healthcare or regulated environment
- Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills and a solid grasp of data modelling
- Comfortable supporting commercial tenders with technical and operational input
- Experience managing complex projects and communicating with senior stakeholders
- Experience with GDP, MHRA and other healthcare compliance frameworks
- Exposure to automation technologies or warehouse simulation tools
- A degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or engineering
