Key Responsibilities
- Specialist Caseload Management: Lead a diverse portfolio of New Build and Shared Ownership transactions from inception to completion. You will independently establish priorities and manage deadlines to deliver fully against personal and team targets.
- Technical Document Drafting: Take detailed instructions from clients and draft all necessary legal documents and contracts, ensuring they meet the specific requirements of complex property types.
- Expert Advisory & Research: Provide clients with bespoke legal advice, researching previous cases and relevant laws to resolve complex enquiries. You will record all advice meticulously, ensuring the client’s best interests are always protected.
- Proactive Transaction Management: Efficiently manage all aspects of the conveyancing process, from file opening to post‑completion. You will ensure files are maintained in impeccable order, adhering to SLAs, statutory requirements, and SRA Rules.
- Strategic Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a proactive link between solicitors, mortgage lenders, brokers, developers, and local authorities. You will manage client expectations through clear and consistent communication.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify and resolve potential risks before they escalate, ensuring no transaction puts the client or the business at risk.
- Financial Oversight: Ensure all files are billed correctly with the appropriate fees. You will be responsible for ensuring that all funds are sent to the correct place upon completion.
