Responsibilities
- Set up and operate flexographic printing machines
- Produce printed materials to required quality and specification standards
- Carry out quality checks throughout print
- Adjust machine settings to optimise efficiency and minimise waste
- Complete job changeovers efficiently
- Perform basic maintenance and maintain equipment cleanliness
- Work in line with safety, quality and production procedures
Requirements
- Experience in a high volume manufacturing environment
- Experience with automated processes (printing experience essential)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Good attendance and timekeeping
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work shift patterns
- Knowledge of 5S, TPM, Kaizen or Kanban (desirable)
