MovementHolic – Holistic Physiotherapy & Women’s Health is a London-based practice specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, women’s health, postnatal recovery and long-term wellbeing. Founded by Claudia Cocci-Grifoni, senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist and women’s health specialist, MovementHolic bridges traditional physiotherapy with functional movement, strength-based rehabilitation and education-led care.
A large proportion of our patients are women and mothers, often navigating postnatal recovery, pelvic floor concerns, chronic or recurring pain, hypermobility and the physical demands of modern life. Our approach is holistic, movement-led and evidence-based, supporting people beyond symptom management and empowering them to regain strength, confidence and control over their health. Services are delivered both in-clinic and online, and include holistic physiotherapy, clinical Pilates, movement rehabilitation and educational workshops.
We are seeking a part-time MSK Physiotherapist to join our growing team in London, ideally with experience or a strong interest in women’s health and postnatal physiotherapy. More than a specific specialism, we are looking for someone who is deeply passionate about their work, genuinely invested in holistic health, and motivated by helping people change the way they move, live and care for their bodies. This role is suited to a clinician who is curious, active and engaged, someone who sees physiotherapy as an evolving craft rather than a fixed job description.
This is an on-site role based at our Islington location. You will assess, diagnose and treat musculoskeletal and women’s health-related presentations using evidence-based, holistic approaches. The role includes postnatal rehabilitation, movement-based therapy (including strength training and Clinical Pilates, where appropriate), and education-led care that supports long-term recovery and independence.
We value clinicians who are personally engaged with movement and health, who enjoy learning, developing new skills and exploring different ways of supporting patients, whether through movement, education, workshops or broader wellbeing initiatives. This is a role for someone who wants to grow with the practice, contribute ideas, and be part of a purposeful, values-led business.
We welcome applications from:
- Women’s health physiotherapists with solid MSK foundations
- MSK physiotherapists who are keen to develop their skills and confidence in women’s health within a supportive environment
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive MSK and women’s health assessments
- Develop and deliver personalised, movement-led treatment plans
- Support postnatal and women’s health patients alongside general MSK caseloads
- Deliver education-focused care to empower long-term recovery
- Facilitate movement-based rehabilitation, strength training and Clinical Pilates sessions (where trained)
- Collaborate within a small, holistic and values-led team including Chiropractors, Dieticians, Nutritionists, Massage Therapists, PTs and Herbal Chinese Medicine Practitioners
- Identify when onward referral or multidisciplinary input is required
This is a flexible, part-time role, starting from 1–2 shifts per week, with the option to increase over time. There is no full-time requirement.
Essential qualifications & qualities:
- HCPC registered Physiotherapist
- Minimum of 5 years of post-grad experience
- Strong foundation in musculoskeletal physiotherapy assessment and treatment
- Genuine interest in women’s health, postnatal recovery and holistic care
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a small team
- Professional, organised, and confident in building rapport with patients
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience or postgraduate training in women’s health or postnatal physiotherapy
- Clinical Pilates or movement-based rehabilitation training
- Experience working with chronic pain, hypermobility or complex MSK conditions
- Personal training or fitness qualification
- Additional postgraduate education or certifications
- Registration with private health insurance providers
At MovementHolic, practitioner wellbeing is a core value. We believe clinicians who prioritise their own health, movement and recovery are better equipped to support others. We offer:
- Annual Bupa health assessment
- Free access to local gyms and on-site gym facilities
- Access to flexible co-working spaces across London and worldwide
- Flexible working hours and shift patterns
- Use of studio space for personal training and movement practice outside working hours
- Access to monthly on-site workshops open to the public
- Opportunity to host and lead your own workshops
Location: On-site across our Islington (London) location.
Contract & pay: Part-time, Contractor basis, Competitive pay, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
