HGV Driver Class 1 - Tramper - Permanent Position

We deliver exceptional logistics services through a modern fleet of trucks, all less than five years old, and long term careers for HGV Class 1 drivers with guaranteed consistent work throughout the year.

- Full time Permanent Position
- £45,720-£46,630 Annual Gross Salary, overnight allowance included
- Basic £775 + £100 tax free allowance per week

You would have to
- Maintain all health and safety standards
- Careful and safe handling of truck and trailers
- Flexibility required regarding start times
- Ensure you complete daily vehicle checks to make sure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use
- Complete trailer checks for every pickup and drop off
- Ensure you arrive at your job on time, informing the office of any issues
- Use app for route navigation and to track deliveries
- Follow all company procedures, customer procedures and the Highway Code
- Must have a professional attitude, be reliable, customer focused, safe and a team player
- Comply with all tachograph and WTD regulations
- Clean and look after your truck as if it was your own.
Shift Patterns
- Sunday start, finish by Thursday evening, or Friday morning depending on Sunday start time. You'll do max of 60 hours weekly, usually less, paid for 60 hours.
Your knowledge and experience
- Valid C+E Class 1 license with no more than six penalty points as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements
- Driver CPC card with no current suspension or revocation
- UK Digital Tachograph Card
- Right to work in the UK
- English language skills for safety
- Willing to undergo a Background Check and Drug and Alcohol test
- 1 year tramping experience preferred.
