HGV Class 1 Driver C+E Driver – Trunking work (£39,000-£42,000)
Location: Spennymoor Depot – DL16 7XL
Shift: Evening / Night Starts
MoveMatic TSL is a family-run transport company partnered with a major online retailer, providing logistics with a fleet of new trucks. We value our drivers and foster a friendly, supportive work environment. We are hiring reliable, professional HGV drivers for full-time and part-time roles.
About the Job:
We operate 24/7, trunking from RDC to RDC with no handball, averaging 4 swaps per shift with box trailers (single and double deckers). No loading/unloading, focusing on safe driving, customer service, and teamwork. Your base is our Spennymoor Depot, with trailer swaps within the network.
What we offer:
- £150 Daily Rate
- 12-hour shifts, average 9–11 hours worked

- Uniform/PPE and fully funded CPC renewal
Responsibilities:
- Complete daily vehicle checks for safety
- Arrive on time and report issues
- Follow company, customer procedures, and Highway Code
- Maintain health and safety standards
- Complete deliveries and collections as per manifest
- Comply with tachograph and WTD regulations
- Keep vehicle clean and tidy
Requirements:
- Valid C+E license with <6 penalty points, no DD, DR, IN endorsements
- Driver CPC card (no suspension or revocation)
- UK Digital Tachograph Card
- Right to work in the UK
- Willing to undergo background, drug, and alcohol tests
- 1 year driving experience preferred
- Amazon experience preferred
