MoveATech is recruiting a skilled CNC Turner / Setter to join a well-established production facility based in Portsmouth. This role is suited to an experienced machinist with a strong background in CNC turning and Fanuc-controlled lathes, working within a precision manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes to produce precision components
- Read, understand, and adjust existing CNC programs
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Use precision measuring equipment to maintain tight tolerances
- Ensure work is completed in line with quality and safety standards
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately
- Support day-to-day manufacturing operations within the machine shop
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner / Setter
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc CNC controls
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Competent with precision measuring instruments
- Good communication skills
Desirable Experience
