We’re looking for a passionate, driven Associate-level Building Surveyor who’s ready to take the next big step in their career.
What you’ll be part of: Our projects span education and healthcare, public buildings and estates, residential and housing, commercial, and insurance sectors – giving you variety and challenge every day. Beyond technical delivery, you’ll play a key role in client development, financial forecasting, team leadership, and growth.
What we’re looking for: A proven track record in work-winning and the ambition to drive this discipline forward. If you thrive on responsibility, leadership, and making things happen, this is the role for you.
Main Duties:
- Hands on delivery of building surveying services with bias to project work
- Leading projects often co-ordinating our in house multi discipline design services
- Client management and development
- Supervising, managing and mentoring junior members of the team
- Technical reviews to manage the quality of our services
The skills and experience you need to have for this role:
- MRICS (ideally)
- Consultancy experience, preferably with public sector project experience
- Be commercially minded with an enthusiasm for winning work and business development
- Be able to manage your own workload
- Capable of managing individual team members, organising their work where necessary and providing guidance on projects.
- Good communication and client facing skills
- Excellent all-round technical building surveying knowledge
- An analytical mind with a high level of intellect - combining excellent written and oral skills to produce considered and robust reports and recommendations.
