Are you a Junior Control Systems Engineer looking to develop your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced industry? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a specialist engineering company working across mechanical and electrical services, automation, and renewable infrastructure.
This position is ideal for a graduate or junior engineer with an interest in control systems, automation, and industrial processes. You will be working alongside experienced engineers to design, develop, and maintain PLC-based control systems for a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, programming, and testing of PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems.
- Support engineers in troubleshooting and optimising control systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Work on automation projects across multiple industries.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Knowledge or experience in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar).
- A relevant engineering qualification (HNC, HND, or degree in Electrical, Control, or Automation Engineering).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
