We’re supporting a global robotics company in their search for a Service Engineer to join their UK team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a blend of mechanical and electrical skills, a background in automation or robotics, and a passion for solving problems on-site.

You’ll work from a Shropshire-based office and travel to customer sites across the UK and Ireland. You’ll be part of a close-knit, highly skilled team and operate on a 1-in-4 on-call rota to support emergency breakdowns—though late-night callouts are rare.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Install, service, and repair high-precision robotic equipment at customer sites
  • Diagnose and resolve technical faults (both mechanical & electrical)
  • Provide preventive maintenance and simple programming support
  • Support the 24/7 service rota (1 week in 4)
  • Maintain and update stock and service documentation
  • Train on advanced 4- and 6-axis robotic systems

What We’re Looking For:

  • Background in automation, robotics, or electromechanical engineering
  • Experience with both mechanical and electrical systems
  • Comfortable reading technical drawings and schematics
  • Familiarity with robotics systems and/or automated machinery (e.g., conveyor belts, lifts, sensors)
  • Full UK driving licence
