Commercial Gas Engineer Edinburgh, Clackmannanshire & Scottish Borders We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to support a varied facilities estate across Edinburgh, Clackmannanshire and the Scottish Borders. As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will take ownership of the maintenance, servicing and repair of commercial heating and gas systems across a varied estate. You will work independently across multiple sites while being supported by a collaborative facilities team. Your responsibilities will include: * Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities * Diagnosing faults and repairing commercial gas and heating systems * Servicing and inspecting commercial gas appliances * Performing combustion analysis and flue gas integrity testing * Maintaining boilers, pumps, ventilation systems and associated plant equipment * Identifying and replacing life-expired assets * Undertaking minor plumbing and mechanical works where required * Supporting installations, upgrades, commissioning and project works * Conducting inspections, risk assessments and statutory compliance checks This role will involve travelling between sites and may occasionally require working at height and outdoors in varying weather conditions. What You'll Bring We are looking for an experienced engineer who takes pride in delivering excellent service and maintaining safe, compliant and efficient buildings. Essential requirements: * Full UK Driving Licence * Current Gas Safe Registration * Relevant commercial gas qualifications * Proven experience servicing and repairing commercial and industrial boilers and gas appliances * Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills What We Offer * Salary up to £46,000 * Company van provided for business use * Permanent, secure role with long-term stability * Monday to Friday working pattern, 37.5 hours per week * Opportunity to work across a diverse multi-site facilities estate * Career development and training opportunities within a professional facilities management environment
