Contract Panel Wirer – Birmingham (B1 3AJ)
4–6 week contract | 45–50 hours per week | Monday to Friday
We are recruiting an experienced Panel Wirer for a 4–6 week contract with a busy systems integrator in Birmingham. You will build and wire electrical control panels for automotive and automation projects, working accurately from technical drawings in a workshop environment.
The Role
- Build and wire electrical control panels and associated units.
- Read and work from electrical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Mount components, route cables and complete accurate terminations.
- Check finished work against drawings and project specifications.
- Report build issues and support the team in meeting project deadlines.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and organisation.
About You
- Previous experience as a Panel Wirer, Control Panel Builder or in a similar electrical assembly role.
- Confident reading electrical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience fitting components, routing cables and completing terminations.
- Accurate, reliable and safety-conscious, with good attention to detail.
- Available to start within 1-2 weeks
