The CCOR function supports the development of a strong regulatory compliance culture by the implementation of a Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) Program to ensure compliance with laws and regulations relevant in the region.
It also covers and maintains practices to identify, measure, manage and remediate regulatory related risks and monitors and tests the operating effectiveness of the Firm-s CCOR Practices.
The CCOR Officer will join as a member of the Latin America and Canada team and will assist on the execution of the CCOR Program with focus on compliance risks and controls.

Operational Risk Management is part of Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR), within the Risk Management and Compliance organization.
CCOR is responsible for the design and execution of the CCOR program, which consists of the second line of defense's responsibilities in the oversight of management of the firm's Compliance, Conduct, and Operational Risk.

Key Responsibilities
- As a CCOR Vice President within the Operational Risk team, you will lead the regional interface of LE Risk Assessments (LERA).
- You will support the execution of the Latam and Canada (LAC) program across Compliance and Operational Risk, working in a dynamic environment to deliver first-class solutions.
- Your role will involve managing stakeholder relationships, driving innovation, and ensuring a strong risk and control environment.
- Regional Risk Assessment Escalation Point in coordination with the regional head of ORM.
- Responsible for oversight of the regional framework.
- Communicate and implement the LERA program standards across relevant LOBs and stakeholders.
- Perform analysis to identify major issues and design potential solutions.
- Develop presentations to communicate issues, recommendations, and status of initiatives.
- Identify control issues, determine root causes, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Provide critical and analytical thinking to challenge the status quo and propose creative solutions.
- Support agile product management and software development for continuous improvement of technology platforms.
- Contribute to innovation projects to automate manual processes using tools like Alteryx, LLM and Tableau.
- Review and analyze data to identify LE level data needs for effective risk management.
- Create a proactive legal entity culture within 1LOD and 2LOD.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including Compliance and Operational Risk Officers and Business Control Managers.
- Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, including the Chief Compliance Officer, using data-driven insights.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant industry experience, financial services expertise required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present concise findings in a persuasive manner.
- Experience managing projects and programs end to end in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with Risk Management, Operations, Product Management or Front Office.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and project management skills with successful track record of completion.
- Team player with strong influencing skills and ability to drive change and deliver results.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and exercise sound judgment.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and thrive in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
- Ability to interact with all levels of personnel within the corporate framework.
- Experience interacting with audit and local regulators.
