Are you ready to lead one of the largest and most dynamic logistics operations in New Zealand? At MOVe Logistics, we are searching for a results-driven Site Manager to take ownership of our flagship Rolleston site and provide support to our key partner site. This is more than just a warehouse role it’s a leadership opportunity to drive operational excellence, lead a high-performing team, and make a real impact on our customers and the bottom line.

As Site Manager, you won’t just manage the day-to-day operations, you’ll act as a strategic leader, driving business improvements, influencing customer relationships, and playing a key role in shaping the future of our Rolleston and partner sites.

Candidates will have:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in site or operations management within a large-scale warehouse or logistics environment

Proven leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams

Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities under pressure

A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and diverse environment

Solid financial acumen, including experience managing P&L and controlling operational costs

A customer-focused mindset, committed to delivering service excellence

Proactive approach to problem-solving and driving continuous improvement

Strong understanding of health, safety, and wellbeing practices, with a commitment to maintaining high standards

A passion for developing people capability, with experience coaching, mentoring, and supporting team growth

The role will involve:

Fostering positive collaboration across departments to optimise workflow and enhance customer satisfaction

Building strong relationships with MOVe’s key customers and suppliers, actively participating in issue resolution.

Ensuring all company equipment is maintained to a high standard

P&L Ownership: Managing site budgets, controlling costs, and driving profitability

Operational Excellence: Leading smooth and efficient warehouse operations, consistently meeting productivity and service KPIs.

Team Leadership & Capability Building: Leading, coaching, and developing a motivated team, with a strong focus on building people capability and supporting career growth.

Business Growth: Identifying new customer opportunities and expanding the sites commercial potential.

Compliance & Safety: Ensuring all operations meet health, safety, regulatory and compliance requirements
