An opportunity has arisen for a Branch Manager – Hastings, to join our MOVe Freight Team. You will be part of a friendly, experienced, diverse team who love what they do.

The key accountabilities in this role will be:

To oversee and manage all Freight operations based in the Hastings Region

To lead in the Health and Safety space, to ensure the safety of all of our people and those we engage with around the country

Get close to your customers, understand their needs and exceed their expectations

Contribute to the company objectives for the business unit by implementing operational directives and achieving targets

Drive continual improvement and best practice in the region

Grow the MOVe Freight operations through Business Development and sales strategy

Ensure the effective control of the assets and the development of human resources to ensure continued profitability and growth of the company

The successful applicant will:

Have a record that shows you’ve led teams to be successful, developed a winning culture and you put your team and customer first

You will need to be a people person who is able to lead and coach a diverse range of employees. You will need to be performance driven with proven leadership skills. Previous experience at a Transport Management level is required, along with relevant Management and/or Transportation qualifications.
